School is out, and that means the start of the summer library program. The theme this year is "Catch the Reading Bug!" and we encourage people of all ages to come down to the library and check it out.
From June 8th- August 30th kids ages 3-18 can keep track of how much they read to earn free books. Just stop in each week and pick up a reading record sheet to record how much you are reading.
On July 3rd everyone is invited to our Summer Library Program Kick-off Party. Starting at 1pm at the Phillips Municipal Building there will be prizes and refreshments, and Critterrrrman will be there! So bring the whole family and enjoy the fun.
Throughout the month of July there will be "Catch the Reading Bug Programs" for children 5-7 on Tuesdays from 1:30-3pm and for children 8-12 on Thursdays from 1:30-3pm. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided.
To round out the summer come to our Graphic Book Fest. Check out the newest in comic books and Manga on August 12 from 4-6pm. This event is open to ages 12-18.
